Agronomist’s noteProdiamine 480 g/L (Group 3) pre-emergent: stops germinating weeds rooting for up to 6 months. Apply in early autumn for winter grass and late winter for summer grass and crowsfoot, then water in with at least 6 mm of irrigation or rain within 7 days (don’t irrigate to run-off for 3 days). Don’t apply to waterlogged soil or if heavy rain is forecast within 48 hours. It root-prunes, so use only on established lawns with roots 3 cm or deeper. Tip: tank-mix with Hydramaxx for a more even barrier. Check the label for important PPE requirements.
