Agronomist’s noteTreats and protects: a no-spray granule that kills grubs and caterpillars already in the lawn, then keeps protecting it for months. Controls curl grubs, African black beetle, billbug and armyworm. Spread in spring and water in with about 6 mm of irrigation straight away, to move it into the root zone where the larvae feed. For caterpillars (armyworm, cutworm, sod webworm), delay watering and mowing for 24 hours instead, so the product stays on the leaf where they feed. Don’t apply to waterlogged soil, and wear gloves if spreading by hand.
