Agronomist’s noteAn amino acid stress conditioner. The plant takes up the amino acids directly, saving it the energy of making them, and it’s high in proline, the plant’s own stress-protection amino acid. It works best applied in the lead-up to stress: before renovation (scarifying, coring, topdressing), ahead of heatwaves or drought, before cold snaps, when disease pressure is building, and around herbicide applications or heavy wear. Good practice is to use it both before and after the stress, to prime the turf and then speed its recovery.
