Agronomist’s notePre-emergent, insecticide and 15-1-17 fertiliser in one granule. Oxadiazon (Group 14) blocks summer grass, crowsfoot, winter grass and creeping oxalis for up to 10 weeks. It’s shoot-absorbed, so it has minimal impact on turf roots. Thiamethoxam (Group 4A) gives residual control of African black beetle, Argentinian scarab and billbug larvae, and the fertiliser feeds for 4–8 weeks. Water in with 10–12 mm of irrigation, starting within an hour of spreading. Spread onto a dry lawn, don’t mow until it’s watered in and the leaves have dried, and don’t apply if heavy rain is forecast within 3 days or in heat consistently above 32°C. Not for Santa Ana couch, newly seeded areas, or turf containing carpet grass, centipede grass or dichondra.
